Monthly Help Desk

11:15 - 12:15

Welcome to our website! We’re glad you have found us!

For 34 years, our non-profit club has been serving computing newcomers, frequent users and experts alike from the four-county area of northeast Illinois and southeast Wisconsin. Founded in 1983 by Atari computer enthusiasts, our current focus is on Windows computers and new technology which includes Android and Apple IOS tablets and Smartphone's. We also have members who use Chromebooks and various distributions of Linux.

Area of interest include computer operation, software selection and use, data storage alternatives, tablet computing, Smartphone selections and use, genealogy, digital photography, video calling and digital security.

We meet on the second Saturday of each month (except July and December) at the Grayslake Public Library in Grayslake, Illinois, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Prior to the meeting start at 11:15 a.m., we host a Help Desk staffed by experienced volunteers who will happily take on computer challenges of all sorts. All are welcome to our meetings and Help Desk – members and visitors alike.
