Phil’s Ramblings
One interesting feature is SwiftKey. This predictive
keyboard software was developed for Android and
Apple tablets and phones; it saves users time by em-
ploying artificial intelligence to predict the next word
they intend to type. Microsoft acquired SwiftKey in
2016 and is expected to incorporate this software
into Windows 10 in the fall update.
A “Your Phone” app will be featured in this update,
including a shortcut on the default desktop. This app
will provide improved syncing and file transfer capa-

droid / Apple phones and tablets. (Because of Ap-
ple’s platform restrictions, fewer features will be
available to iPhone users, but those in the Android
universe should get the full benefit.) Those of you

development; we’ll have to wait and see what the
final version is named.
