Overhead scanning for books and magazines

This may not be something that everyone needs in pdf (eBook) file. You can also scan documents, ID
their toybox, but it comes in useful if you are a paper and other cards, and some 3D objects.

I bought the IRIScan Pro a few months ago, JJ men-
tioned it in his Scanner 101 presentation last year. I
have a collection of several cooking magazines and
old books that can’t be flattened and this scanner
works GREAT!

Now my wait time for the flatbed scanner to boot up,
I just place my document however I like under the
IRIScan Desk and it will create perfectly straight, flat,
and legible files from them, at any time, in a split sec-
ond!
Some of my cooking magazines were too large for
my flatbed scanner and with the IRIScan Desk Pro I
was able to lay the magazine flat on the scanning
bed and the overhead scanner made perfect copies
of each or both pages as desired.

The Desk 5 nimbly scans books and magazine
spreads, automatically scanning in intervals of 3, 5,
or 7 seconds; automatically detection of documents;
Book digitizing (including auto page-turn detection,
book curve image flattening, finger-erasing, and
front and back cover detection) automatic de-
skewing and cropping, and automatic edge filling of
damaged documents. Hand movement detection
with automatic scanning when my hand disappears.

The Auto-Detect Page Turn and Auto Scan is the
brain of the Desk 5 Pro. This software auto-detects
page turn and can trigger scan automatically for ef-
fortless scanning. The convenient Push Button can
also be used to trigger scanning, while it frees your
hands.

Desk 5 can scan at 2 seconds per page or 30 pages
per minute. The document can later be saved as a
